Our commitment on this site
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the storefront. What that means in practice here:
- Keyboard first. Every control — ticket selection, date strip, time slots, country picker, checkout steps — is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
- Touch targets. Buttons are at least 48 px tall so they are usable with limited dexterity.
- Contrast. Body text is at least 4.5:1 against its background; large headings and prices at least 3:1.
- Reduced motion. We honour
prefers-reduced-motionand disable animations and smooth scrolling. - Screen readers. Landmarks, headings in order, labelled form fields, error messages tied to their inputs, and the checkout implemented as a labelled modal dialog with focus management.
- Zoom. The layout reflows at 200% zoom and up to 400% text-only zoom without horizontal scrolling.
- No reliance on colour alone. The sunset pricing and selected states are marked with text and shape as well as colour.
Known limitations
- The 3-D Secure page is rendered by your card issuer and is outside our control. If it is inaccessible, use the contact address in your confirmation email and we will help you complete the booking another way.
- The horizontal ticket and gallery rails scroll sideways on small screens. They also respond to keyboard arrow keys, but this is a non-obvious gesture for some users — the same content is reachable as a grid on wider viewports.
At the attraction
Shibuya Sky is reached by elevator from the 14th-floor Sky Gate to the 45th floor, and the Sky Gallery is step-free. The Sky Stage rooftop is an open-air deck reached by escalator and a short outdoor walk, with uneven surfaces in places; it closes in bad weather. Wheelchair users should contact the operator ahead of the visit to confirm current arrangements — we can pass the question on for you.
Tell us what is broken
If anything on this site blocks you, use the contact address in your confirmation email. Describe the page, your device and the assistive technology you use. We treat accessibility defects as functional bugs and fix them on the same cycle.
