Four things you only get at 229 m

From the elevator ride to the last minute of neon — this is what the ticket actually buys you.

  1. 01

    Sky Gate

A 14th-floor transition space where the city fades out and the light takes over. Then the elevator runs you to the 45th floor in about 40 seconds.

  2. 02

    Sky Gallery

The indoor 360° deck. Floor-to-ceiling glass, hammocks, and the full Tokyo panorama from Shinjuku to the bay — weatherproof and unhurried.

  3. 03

    Sky Stage

The open-air rooftop. No glass, no roof, wind in your face and the Scramble Crossing directly below you. This is the one everybody photographs.

  4. 04

    Sunset

The hour when the sky goes amber, the towers switch on and Tokyo turns into a circuit board. Slots around sunset are the first to disappear.

Help

Frequently asked questions

How do I receive my Shibuya Sky tickets?

Immediately after payment is confirmed, your e-ticket with a QR code is emailed to you. Show it on your phone at the Sky Gate entrance — no printing needed.

What time should I book for sunset?

Your entry slot is printed on the ticket. For the sunset experience, choose a slot 60–90 minutes before sunset so you see daylight, dusk and the neon switch-on in a single visit.

Can I cancel or change the date?

Yes. Free cancellation and free date changes up to 24 hours before your slot. Your booking reference is in the confirmation email.

Is the rooftop open in bad weather?

Sky Stage is an open-air deck and closes in high wind, heavy rain or lightning. Sky Gallery (indoor) stays open and your ticket remains valid.

Do children need a ticket?

Children aged 6–12 need a child ticket. Under 6 enter free but must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the rooftop.

Is payment secure?

Yes. Your card details are encrypted inside your browser with RSA-OAEP-256 before they leave your device. We never see or store your full card number or CVV.
